You will need a few things to create a challenging, supportive, SAFE space to workout with us. Here are our recommendations:
For Your Barre:
Make sure you have a "stabilizer" to help you maintain balance and modify certain positions. You can use:
When using your stabilizer, make sure you are pushing down ON to it, rather than pushing forward IN to it.
For Your Ball:
We recommend support for your back and knees, in place of the teal balls we use in the studio. Consider using:
Grab two if you have any knee or hip issues to offer the greatest safety options during c-curve (our abdonimal work).
For Your Weights:
For arm work, grab something you can use as a pair of light weights. Remember, you are encouraged to drop your weights as often as needed in order to achieve the cued form ~ you will get a powerful arm workout, with or without weights in your hands.
