"Through my many years as a dancer, I found a love for exercise techniques that would complement and enhance my performance. I was introduced to pilates and barre at a young age and fell in love with both.
As I moved away from performing, I decided to study exercise science and found a passion for helping others find the same love for movement that I found. I started teaching barre earlier this year after learning from the wonderful Alli Goozh. It's been so much fun to dive into the world of barre as an instructor, after practicing it and enjoying it as a student for many years."

Crystal was introduced to barre in 2014 from fellow instructor and good friend, Danielle. She instantly fell in love with the practice! As a former dancer and cheerleader. she hadn’t found anything in her adult-life that felt so fun, empowering and natural.
She recently became an instructor at the end of 2019 through Alli's training, and in her words “couldn’t be happier for Alli, this has been her dream to own a studio and I am excited to see what’s to come!”.
When Crystal isn’t at the barre or working her full-time job as a sales rep for Pandora Media, you can find her with her husband (plus three dogs and a cat!) up north in the mountains, enjoying a nice tequila, watching trash reality TV or traveling around the world. Puerto Rico has been her favorite place she has visited and can’t wait to get back there!
Secret talent: she can spin wool. This is no joke. Ask her more next time you see her!
Danielle has been teaching barre since 2015. After taking her first class, she noticed a difference in her mind & body and was hooked! A couple of years into her practice, she decided to become an instructor and share her passion.
“My favorite part about barre, other than seated pretzel 🤪, is our community! Every time you walk in the door, you are surrounded by people who are positive, uplifting, and genuinely care.”
Outside the studio, Danielle is married to her husband, Brian, and a momma to 4 kids
Gabby has been dancing all styles her whole life but specifically loves ballroom. She danced and was a cheerleader all through middle school and high school. She grew up in Seattle, Washington but recently moved to Arizona in 2020 and found an opportunity to be trained and become a barre instructor with us at ReBarre. Ballroom gets her moving and staying active but barre takes it to a whole other level, which she loves. "I love the environment, the people and the great workout it provides! I’ve never had such a fun, rewarding, safe workout! I'm so happy that Alli introduced barre in my life! It’s exactly what I needed after having my baby."
Gabby loves teaching and sharing her passions with other people. She believes that dancing, moving, and being active are key to a happy life. She cannot wait start instructing!
Gabby has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Nutrition. She loves to be active, or relax watching movies/tv with her family. She is married to her husband Andy and had her first baby girl, Juliette, in December 2020.
Kirstin was introduced to yoga and group fitness at a very young age. Inspired by her mother, who taught multiple formats and had a passion for exercise. After moving to Arizona as a young adult, she started taking her mother’s classes to meet new people and get involved in the community.
In 2011, Kirstin certified with Les Mills to teach Bodyflow, a yoga/pilates mix and the following year with Mossa, as a cardio/strength instructor teaching the Group Active format. Next came a BUTI yoga certification, a whole new world blending Yoga with Plyometrics, cardio and tribal dance that lit up her soul. Currently pursuing a 500 hour Yoga certification, Kirstin's passion is to continue to grow as a Vinyasa (flow) and BUTI instructor and to dive deep into the history of Yoga on and off the mat. Her father is also a big inspiration in her life and owns an Insurance Agency specializing in Trucking Insurance where Kirstin has worked full time for the past 18 years. She truly appreciates the hard work and dedication of the Trucking world and believes “If you got it, a truck brought it.”
Outside of work, you can find Kirstin with family - her husband and two young daughters keep her laughing and learning every day. Their favorite place is at the lake - swimming, fishing, kayak and paddle boarding.

Melissa is an OG barre instructor, working with Alli at the first studio to open here in Arizona! In her own words:
I came to know and love Pilates and the Barre method while becoming a certified instructor in 2005. In 2011, I furthered my movement knowledge while becoming a certified Gyrotonic instructor. I have always loved movement and enjoy the process of creating classes that are fun, have flow, strengthen, and are challenging. I love how effective Pilates and the barre technique are, and the results I have seen on my own body. This method has helped me stay strong physically and mentally.
My passion is sharing this goodness with others. When I’m not teaching movement… I’m enjoying life with my husband, three kids, my dog, and friends. I love the outdoors, especially mountain biking, hiking and camping. My favorite words are “Challenge accepted!”
Merryl started taking barre classes back in 2015, then joined our studio team in 2017.
Born and raised in NJ, Merryl graduated from Rutgers University, and began living full-time in Arizona in 2011. She lives in DC Ranch with her husband Rich, and all three of their adult children live in the area too. Merryl keeps her connection to NJ by spending her summers at the Jersey shore.
Merryl has an extensive background in both education and nutrition, invested many years as a high school History teacher, then completed her certification in Integrative Health Counseling.
In her own words, "I'm looking forward to returning from my summer travels to our beautiful studio, under the new ownership of Alli Goozh, and seeing all of the faces I miss so very much."
"I came across barre after reading about it’s benefits in Self magazine many (actually, too many) years ago. Even though I’d been a long-time fitness lover wow, I barely was able to shuffle out of my first class. It was the best, most thoughtful burn and I was hooked! Barre targets nooks and crannies I didn’t even know existed while honoring the body - amazing! I’ve been a student for over a decade and became an instructor after practicing for a few years. I truly treasure connecting with clients - in person and virtually. I love to laugh at myself. My teaching style is upbeat but focused on alignment and anatomy so you have fun and challenge your body while caring for it.
I'm a Doctor of Pharmacy who has worked in various settings, including medical research and writing. I'm married with two fur babies. We're travelers and love experiencing our families and friends, delicious food, new places and good wine.
I'm here to help you fall in love with barre, too. See you in class - namaste!"
Sonja brings the heat to ReBarre, leading powerful HIIT and Buti Yoga classes that fuse dancing, plyometrics and yoga! Bring a mat, towel and water.
Sonja has been active in Buti Yoga since 2015, and teaching classes since 2018. Besides Buti, she also specializes in toxicology and PCR in her career as a lab technologist. Buti AND brains!! Her main passions in life are Buti, Harry Potter, Friends, champagne and cheese.
"My favorite aspect of Buti is the tribal music. It invokes movement that is so liberating, no matter how silly it looks. But that's the most important concept about yoga: it's not about how you look, it's about how you feel."
Terri is a passionate believer in the amazing benefits of Mindfulness, Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing. She loves teaching classes at ReBarre and around the valley, as well as facilitating private and group sessions. As a Mindfulness Coach, she will assist you in becoming aware of limiting self-beliefs, negative thought patterns and destructive behaviors (we all have them!), that are holding you back from being your happiest self.
"I truly believe that we all attract whatever we focus on and think about intensely. My joy is working together to be more mindful, to change the negative into positive and to start directing your energy into all the right places so you can attract all of those things you dream of into your life. You’ll be creating space within for love and joy and success in all forms! I would love to be a part of your journey whether it’s in a class at Rebarre or seeing you in a private session! I really miss you all ~ until we can be together again, I wish you peace, love and abundance in all forms!"
Virginia Ray is a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher and Sound Practitioner.
"After many years of working in healthcare, I felt something was missing; it felt too mechanical. This sent me down the road of alternative methods of healing. I studied many methods until I got to meditation and mindfulness. This was the missing link. We need to connect our mental and physical and energetic bodies for healing to happen. We are our own best healer; and, that begins when we ‘connect’ (or re-connect) to ourselves. For me, that was Mindfulness, Meditation and Sound.
Now I teach meditation, along with the additional benefits of Mindfulness and Sound. It is my honor to support others searching to enhance their life, and perhaps discover their own place of peace. It all begins with you. “If you don’t find it inside, you will never find it outside.”
When not teaching meditation, I enjoy my home life with my husband, 2 therapy dogs and my volunteer work with hospice."
